Founded in 1989 on the Upper East Side, HG Fine Art began as Hubert Gallery and operated on the corner of Madison Ave and 80th Street for 27 years, specializing in modern master works on paper. In 2017, the gallery moved to the ground floor of 16 East 79th Street to a historic townhouse at the upper end of what is known as ‘Museum Mile’ and across the street from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In 2023, we partnered with Galerie Mourlot at 16 East 79th Street in the sharing of exhibition space. We also began operating a separate office and storage facility at the historic Knickerbocker Press in New Rochelle in Westchester, New York. Today, HG Fine Art maintains its focus on offering quality works by established contemporary artists.
