ABOUT THE ARTIST

Lashley studied art at the Sorbonne in Paris and later in workshops given by prominent artists. She is recognized for her plein air work in both the landscape and cityscape genre for which she has received numerous awards. Lashley is also a sought after teacher and has taught workshops and classes for over 25 years. Since 2009, her paintings have been exhibited in galleries and collected throughout the U.S. She currently lives and works in the Washington, D.C. area.
