Founded in 1989 on the Upper East Side, Hubert Gallery operated on the corner of Madison Ave and 80th Street for 27 years, specializing in both Modern Master prints and Contemporary art. In 2017, the gallery moved to 16 East 79th Street to a historic townhouse at the upper end of what is known as ‘Museum Mile’ and across the street from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In 2020, the gallery transitioned its focus to exclusively Contemporary art. We feature established artists who work in a variety of styles - from representational to impressionist to abstract - who have an exceptional skill and ability to express feeling, mood and emotion thru their use of classic and traditional media - that of drawing and painting. We pride ourselves on offering works by some of the most talented and critically acclaimed artists working today in the US and Canada.
